BLSFlow Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how BLSFlow uses cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage, and similar technologies on its website, console, and documentation site. This Policy should be read together with the BLSFlow Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text data stored in your browser by a website. Local Storage and Session Storage are similar browser storage mechanisms. These technologies can maintain sign-in sessions, remember language and interface preferences, protect account security, record cookie choices, and help us understand how the product is used.
Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when the browser is closed or the session ends, or persistent cookies, which remain for a specified period unless you clear them earlier.
2. Types of Technologies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies and Storage
These technologies support account sign-in, session authentication, account security, request protection, language selection, cookie-choice records, and core page functionality. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of these necessary technologies does not depend on your consent to analytics cookies.
If you block necessary cookies or local storage in your browser, you may be unable to sign in, maintain a session, save a language choice, or use some BLSFlow features correctly.
2.2 Functionality and Preference Storage
These technologies may remember language, theme, interface display, table columns, filters, or other preferences so that you do not need to configure them repeatedly and can have a more consistent experience.
2.3 Matomo Analytics Cookies
BLSFlow uses a self-hosted Matomo deployment located in Hong Kong for website and product analytics and uses Matomo's default cookie mode. IP anonymization is enabled.
Matomo may process page URLs, page titles, referring pages, visit times, session and visit counts, browser details, device type, screen information, feature-usage events, and anonymized IP information. We use this information to understand how pages and features are used, troubleshoot performance, and improve BLSFlow. We do not use it for cross-site advertising targeting or sell it to third parties.
3. Cookie and Storage List
The following table describes the main cookies and similar technologies that BLSFlow currently uses or may use. An asterisk in a Matomo cookie name may contain a site ID or an identifier generated by the configuration. Actual retention may be shorter because of security settings, browser behavior, or configuration changes.
| Name or Pattern | Type | Purpose | Typical Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| BLSFlow session or security cookies, whose names may vary by environment | Strictly necessary | Sign-in, session, security, and request protection | Until the session ends or up to 30 days |
blsflow_locale | Functionality preference | Remembers the selected Chinese or English locale across BLSFlow subdomains | 12 months |
| Cookie consent record, whose name may vary by implementation | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you selected "Accept All" | Usually 12 months |
_pk_id.* | Matomo analytics | Distinguishes visitors and counts visits | Usually 13 months |
_pk_ses.* | Matomo analytics | Identifies the current analytics session | Usually 30 minutes |
_pk_ref.* | Matomo analytics | Stores referral information for visit attribution | Usually 6 months |
| Local Storage | Necessary or functionality preference | Sign-in support state, language, theme, interface, and feature preferences | Until cleared by you or overwritten by the product |
| Session Storage | Strictly necessary or functionality preference | Temporary state for the current page or session | Until the current session ends |
4. Consent and "Accept All"
Where applicable law requires prior consent, BLSFlow enables non-essential Matomo analytics cookies only after obtaining your consent.
Selecting "Accept All" in the cookie notice means that you consent to strictly necessary technologies, functionality and preference storage, and Matomo analytics cookies. Not selecting "Accept All" should not be treated as consent to non-essential analytics cookies.
You may withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before withdrawal. After cookies are cleared, the cookie notice may appear again.
5. How You Can Manage Cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, block, delete, or restrict cookies. The specific steps depend on your browser and device. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may sign you out, prevent your language preference from being saved, or make some features unavailable.
BLSFlow does not sell personal information or use Matomo for cross-site targeted advertising. Because browser "Do Not Track" signals do not have a uniform standard, BLSFlow may not automatically respond to every such signal, but we will honor valid choices required by applicable law.
6. Third-Party Services
When you choose Google sign-in, use Antom payment services, or visit a third-party link, the relevant third party may use cookies or similar technologies on its own domains. Those technologies are controlled by the third party under its own terms and privacy policy.
Matomo is self-hosted by BLSFlow in Hong Kong. The cloud infrastructure provider hosting this system may process data only as necessary to provide infrastructure services to BLSFlow.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy because of changes to product features, cookie configurations, analytics methods, or applicable law. We will notify users of material changes through an in-product notice, cookie notice, email, or another reasonable method. Where applicable law requires new consent, we will obtain valid consent before enabling the relevant non-essential cookies.
